Inclose cooperation with a customer, USD Formteiltechnik GmbH has produced a component from soft magnetic material (SMC – Soft Magnetic Composites) using a sintering process.
Soft magnetic materials can be easily magnetised and demagnetised. They are used to amplify and guide the magnetic flux.
Typical areas of application are transformers, relays and electric motors.
